[Competitions]

 

[2012] Winner in all categories 4/4 of the competition "Project 180" - case study competition.

Working on Project 180 I gained experience solving various real business cases. I also had the opportunity to work with another 3/8 finalists, who were one of the best students EFOS.
The team has achieved a great result by winning all four tasks, and thus achieved a total victory.

The first task was to create a plan of establishment and operation of independent crafts. Our team worked on initiate breeding raspberries and blackberries.
The second task was the elaboration of business associations Akademis and suggestion of improvements. We made ​​a detailed document with description and elaboration of proposals to detail, we have prepared a document with an annual plan that would help to ease monitor the implementations of the presented ideas and all other tasks, we developed cost estimates, suggested people for all the jobs that we specify.
The third task was the practice in HOK insurance, in which we have worked on collecting debts.
The fourth and final task was to design applications for inchoate Osijek.

For Case study Ožujsko beer, students from all over the Croatian could enroll. My team passed again in the finals and because of different circumstances I independently presented our solution in a modern, different and visually appealing manner.

 

[2012] Case Study Competition

            1 place in Case Study Competition - case CEMEX

            3rd place in Case Study Competition - case Erste Bank

 

This competition had 16 categories / 16 different business cases. I participated in two categories with two different teams. We have solved the business case for Erste Bank, which topic was loyalty program and for the company Cemex, for which we created a marketing campaign on alternative media.
Our solutions have brought us to the final event on which we, in front of the international jury composed of representatives of Erste Bank and the CEMEX company, presented our solutions on modern and visually attractive way.
For the case of Cemex we have won first place in a competition over 50 teams from different universities Croatian.
For the case of Erste Bank have won third place also in competition from over 50 different teams.


Case Study Competition is a competition to solve real and challenging business cases in which a student organization eSTUDENT (FEB, FER, FBF, PMF) connects companies from different industries with the best students from all faculties. The competition is held with the support of the Croatian President, Prof. Ivo Josipovic. The competition was intrigued over 3500 students studying at universities across the Croatian, of which only the best qualified for the final round of the competition.

06/2010 to 05/2011 Vice President for Outgoing Exchange

                                    AIESEC – Osijek

 - Managed OGX processes, as well as focusing on policies, quality standards and ensuring that Local Committee EPs (exchange participants) have proper selection and preparation for eXchange.

- Responsible for the quality of the exchange experiences offered by the LC for Eps.

- Coordinate with other functions of executive board, established through task forces and other portfolios.

- Leader of team, which consisted out of 8 people, whose main role was promotion and popularization of exchange program offered by AIESEC.

- Planning events, holding trainings and facilitating seminars and conferences were some of our many responsibilities as well.

- Trained, coached and mentored members.

 

By participating in about 35 various seminars, conferences and trainings organized by AIESEC and its partners, I have improved my working ability. I successfully presented over 40 times in front of larger groups of students, the number often passed over 100 students per group. These were promotional as well as educational presentations.
I have improved my ability to plan. I learned to form yearly action plans and enhance the creative ability to solve tasks. Important experience from this organizations is to work with different personalities of people. I also have experience working with multinational teams.
I was responsible for organizing multiple daily seminars in its entirety, from the conduct of a space, providing food, beverages, necessary devices and coordination of people. I also lead a team of eight people, and learned to transmit knowledge and to delegate tasks.

 

 

EWOB - Team Leader of Global Entrepreneurship Week in Osijek [2011],

                  Team Leader of consulting project - America 2010

 

The project, for which implementation I was directly responsible was the Global Entrepreneurship Week 2011 in Osijek. For the four-day event we ensure the arrival of more than 20 entrepreneurs from various sectors and representatives from 15 organizations and government offices that together with students discussed actual topics at the roundtable. As part of this project I was in charge of cooperation with  two organizations partners and a team of 15 people.

I participated in the organization of the visit of US students in January 2012, and in January of 2011 when we were doing consulting for small and medium enterprises in mixed teams of Croatian and American students. Within this project I was a representative of the team, and we went to the meeting with the owner, we analyzed the current situation and gave common solutions.
